Ok was looking at my old militia regiment's web page and saw that they have gone through several tartan changes. My question to the more historically inclined members out there are:
1) Is it common for highland units to switch out tartans like this?
2) Are not tartans treated the same as battle...
I have been saying I am sailing on the HMCS Bloggins for years and have never been corrected. When I was RCD, I was a crewman on a Cougar or an M113. There were no corrections there either. I am more concerned on whether my sailors can do their job as an Operator as long as they do it correctly...
Odd......most chronics we have had over the past few years are not left hanging like that. Those that I know of were tested by a doctor and those that were chronics were either retained and given an OT or released. All within a year and at most a year and a half.

You don't think having an airborne early warning capability for the navy would be a good thing? I think anything that extends what we can detect and track would only help with picture compliation.
Just a question for the flying types out there. How feasible would it to take the Sea Kings with the fewest flying hours on them and have them rebuilt and modified to carry the Searchwater radar like the RN AEW Sea King variants do? It would give the Navy a nice little capability. Thoughts?

Now why would you join a unit your not in direct contact with? Do you not think it would be better to get the correct information from the unit rather then heresay?
