I'd posted about this upthread and in the Gun Control thread yesterday. The Montréal region is ground zero for the gun control movement in Canada. She's in a safe Liberal riding where the incumbent has chosen not to run again.

As I posted in the Gun Control thread, Nathalie Provost will be running for Carney in a Montreal area riding. My money says she will be Public Safety minister in his government.
Québec's "Le Devior" is reporting that anti-gun activist Nathalie Provost will be running for the Carney Liberals in the upcoming election. She will be running in the newly re-named riding of Châteauguay–Les Jardins-de-Napierville, in Montérégie. She is one of the founders of Polysesouvient.
That's a bit of a misleading headline. No mention of actual stolen machine guns, just gun mounts. But why let facts get in the way of selling ad space around headlines?
