The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

So, this will soon find it's way into the Liberal Party platform, then.

The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

I'm a CSSA member and I have seen no info of this type. Can you provide a link? It wouldn't surprise me, though, as every exemption request made under s.97.1(b) of the Firearms Act has been denied according to Canadian Olympic Committee representative Lynda Kiejko's testimony before SECU.

High Ranking Police Folk Allegedly Behaving Badly

I read on another site that nearby Liberal signs positioned in a similar manner were left untouched. I really hope that's not true.

High Ranking Police Folk Allegedly Behaving Badly

As much as people may believe to the contrary, there is nothing in the Elections Act that regulates the destruction, defacing or removal of election signs. That's a criminal matter.

    Taliban Nicknames

Quick question. During The Second World War, Nazi soldiers were referred to as "Jerries" by Allied troops, including Canadians. Did CAF soldiers have any similar nicknames for the Taliban during our time in Afghanistan?

Harper, of course. It all comes back to him.

The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

There's no guarantee that a Carney-led state government wouldn't bargain away our 2A rights given how far down the gun control road we've already gone.

    3 OPP Officers Shot-May 11th/ 2023

Very similar circumstances, but the one I was thinking of was more recent.

    3 OPP Officers Shot-May 11th/ 2023

There was a case not too long ago where a guy fired on a fleeing home invader, killing him, and was convicted of murder. I'll try to find it. Most OPP cruisers in this area are marked. Hard to misidentify them. No mention of the rifle's calibre in the article, but if it was a .22 there's no...

    3 OPP Officers Shot-May 11th/ 2023

The backdoor was locked. The didn't announce themselves there, but knocked, getting no reply, but the dog barked. The entered by an unlocked front door. There was no forced entry. From the linked article: "The officers then went to the front door, only this time they announced themselves...

    Liberal Minority Government 2021 - 2025

A visible minority who has held that seat for the party since 2015 being bumped for the old white banker guy to attempt to get elected as PM, not coincidentally in the riding next door to PP. I would not be surprised if the constituents turned on him.

    Liberal Minority Government 2021 - 2025

I'd posted about this upthread and in the Gun Control thread yesterday. The Montréal region is ground zero for the gun control movement in Canada. She's in a safe Liberal riding where the incumbent has chosen not to run again. It will be interesting to see if Wendy Cukier from the Coalition...

    Liberal Minority Government 2021 - 2025

As I posted in the Gun Control thread, Nathalie Provost will be running for Carney in a Montreal area riding. My money says she will be Public Safety minister in his government.

The Great Gun Control Debate- 2.0

Québec's "Le Devior" is reporting that anti-gun activist Nathalie Provost will be running for the Carney Liberals in the upcoming election. She will be running in the newly re-named riding of Châteauguay–Les Jardins-de-Napierville, in Montérégie. She is one of the founders of Polysesouvient.

"Stolen Humvees, Machine Guns, and Bayonets: Arrests in Army Theft Spree"

That's a bit of a misleading headline. No mention of actual stolen machine guns, just gun mounts. But why let facts get in the way of selling ad space around headlines?
