I hear ya there recceeguy...the gal we had doing cultural awareness was Afghani, hence a native.....so I have no reason not to believe her. But she did say that they usally are referred to as Afghani, though she said afghanis, afghans is fine.

actually recceeguy....Afghan people can be referred to as Afghanis..Afghans or Afghani...as Afghani is the currency...afghanis is just the plural form....like dollar, dollars.....ask an Afghani this, they will tell you...like were were told while doing yet another wasteful week of PSO trg.

RMS clerks(a few anyways) who see you standing there but say squat or say they are busy...but when Captain Joe Schmo stands beside you...it's "yes sir, how can I help you?"  God, that pisses me off...of course I don't hold back...managed to have the SWO and the CO on a couple of occasions pop...

Not a pilot Spark....recceeman is bang on....I went Flight Engineer....I turned wrenches for years on Tutors, Dash-8's, SeaKings and Hercs,  but it was time for something new.....so, more money, I get to fly and still turn some wrenches....not a bad deal.

congrats on getting AVN.......I did aero engine/Avn before turning my coveralls in for a flight suit...it's a good trade but can depend where you end up and what you make of it. A good time for you (and others) to be coming into the trade...new planes down the road, actual promotions >:D...but...

It was deemed that it was no longer "viable". The building was "supposedly" too small for the Canex. It was but I'm sure that's not the only reason....but who knows......

riggerFE.........These seapigs conversions are not done yet and who knows what exactly they'll be doing...the government likes to talk and if you recall, they used to have FE's on seapigs in shearwater years ago...for land based flying only though. It only seems logical that IF these 5 seapigs...
