How long is Basic Officer Training for a Reserve Officer Candidate?

Is the Aptitude test harder for Officer Candidates?

I heard that BOTC is now broken down into 3 different courses so it is no longer 13 weeks consecutive.

So you are only a Officer cadet for a couple months I guess? until you do your BOTC?

  I am about to put my application in for the Reserves and I am preparing for my interview.  I was just curious to know what Officer Cadets do? and what position they generall hold?   Thanks.

It depends on the Corp and the Standards the Corp had put out. But yes Section Commanders should have good drill. There is a Leadership Po in our system too.

  I have a pair of the new Cadet CADPAT uniform not the one you can buy through the league but they are almost the same.  The ones I have are made out of the same material as real CADPAT (same colour too), they are warmer, stronger, and they aren't field lingere.  I love them and I've used them...
