Yeah Canada will get new ships(Surface combatants)when is unknown. [Xp But what is known is which 1,in my opinion,i mean they keep on pushing the "deadline",and now the Type-26 comes in play.(Although i seem to remember that the new ships would be build of an existing design)

If so yes,but that's the case for anyone who'll has this missile,only thing which is bothering me now is the range about 80 NM(or more)seems too short,i mean the ship f.e. which fires these missiles could come under attack itself due to this,or am i wrong in thinking that?  :P

Colin,what do you mean 1900 tons submerged,are you talking about the A-26?yes they are about that weight. For the new cass of Dutch subs,i think it will be around 3000 tons submerged.

That's my thoughts exactly,again no expert. From what i read and heared the US is able to do this for a while now(BMD),in Europe The Dutch(oh yeah  [lol: )where the first to be able to do that aswell,but that meant an upgrade(software)to the Smart-L,so how do you see the Canadian ships do that...

Well not a lot is known about the new ones,it could be a new design,an evolution on the Walrus(perhaps with a A-26 tower),or a A-26NL. What is known is that they probably will have AIP and will be expeditionary,that's about it. When there's more news i'll share it. Hopelijk zo snel...
