Current terms. Seems that a junior first year gets a low pay that then can go up by 150% in 10 years. In 2015 when the contract started the new member rate was $25.13 and in 2025 that FA in the...
Maybe the issue with the NTO and extra admin was because the last time I had to do them we were told the members were to have their passports with them in case something happened requiring emergency travel into a non-NATO location.
It would be easier to do the one dump every year rather than track on enrolment dates. I remember the MPs in early 2000s had the enrolment bonus that was partly paid on enrolment and partly paid at the 3 year mark I think. It was a pain and it wasn't unusual to have MPs at the counter...
Is it derogatory now? Find it interesting how this happens. The ones I knew including relatives used it when I was around in discussions with them. Visited the res and the group in the house I was visiting used it.
My understanding is that it will only affect IRB if the IRB rate is based on payrates since 1 Apr 2025. Wouldn't run to the bank with that though as there are rumours flying around already about this package.
Funny one - some members were thinking the yearly military service payment was...
having family in any location does not stop you from getting a security clearance. I work with several people with family in North and South China, middle east, poland, russia, etc. It is not where they live, it is what they do that may hinder you getting the clearance.
Slightly incorrect. The 20% is applying only to Pte IPC 1 which means the people in their first year and good chance they are on course for at least most of it. The other IPCs are 13%.
I have now received a reply from the coord at the transition centre.
"You have the option to request a transfer to the Transition Centre at any time. To begin the process, please complete the attached form.
Please note that the timeline can vary, as the request requires approval from the Base...
ok, now to be the downer.
As the increase is backdate and CFHD is linked to pay rates are they going to recover it from all those that are now losing it.
For example my pay increase means I no longer get CFHD. As the increase is backdated that means that technically as of 1 Apr I get the...
backdated to 1 Apr 2025.
8% for Col and above
20% for new Ptes
13% for the rest.
Calculated mine and my yearly income goes down as I lose CFHD.
Be interesting to see the fine details of the military service benefit for time in.
Posting allowance will be based on number of cost move postings...
did a search with no luck so trying here to see what I get. I am also reaching out to my contacts at the transition centre but curious what I will see from both ends.
Waiting on my med release message and planned to request a transfer to the transition centre as soon as I receive. Everywhere...

A few years back there was an officer at the unit that posted online and it was only an issue because he identified as "rank" in the CAF and his name. If he had left out the rank and that he was a member of the CAF nothing would have come out of it. it didn't hamper his career any though.
I find it strange to hear land acknowledgements stating "unceded lands" when the treaty for that land clearly states for x dollars to every mbr of the tribe that was issued immediately they ceded the land. Have to agree it is useless woke drivel.
