As a Training Officer with a large Corps I have ran into that problem a few times. What I like to do is have a round robin type of training broken down into 3 groups. Some training might be things like Abseiling, Small Bore Range, Maintaining Field Kit and Confidence course. It is easy to do...

In the Coy I work with this year @ Blackdown we had one course cadet that was given the rank of Sgt STAFF CADET and transfered to a different Coy. I had Course cadets that had NSCE they should have been staff cadets, and they were in a CL company.  :salute:

This year at Blackdown there were cadets attending CLI for there first year at camp. Do you need to attend CLI to be staff "NO" if you have NSCE or even Gold Star you will be considered for a staff position with no pre summer cadet camp experience. But you must be 16 years old.  :salute:

Yes I do remember that Staff cadets that were Driver storeman at Blackdown had there 404s. 1995 was the only year that Staff cadets had 404s at the Camp.

Yes we do get paid for 23 days of the year and any Class B you can get at a training center for the summer. If you are in it for the pay CIC is not for you.
