It sounds to me that those Training centers might be National Training Centers that give out PINS :salute:

Look forward to making new friends. Doing Classroom work like in school and drill classes. Going on FTXs to learn about being in the field. Looking forward to going to a Cadet Training Center and being away from the family for 2-3 or six weeks for the firsttime.. You will LOVE IT  :dontpanic:

Common sense allways work A Gerber is a good tool  and maybe a Jump Knife that all you need.....

What I like to see is cadets saying " I cant do that" the first time then seeing them having fun trying and cant wait to do it once more....

I have seen cadets using BUG JUICE and steel wool. I wouldn't recommend that.Hot water will do just fine :salute:

Its the change of the times. :dontpanic:  I can still remember pics of the old battle dress uniforms as a cadet they looked kinda cool but must be warm in the summer months.

DND did try to purchase a new weapon for the Army Cadet shooting programme. It was called the C-10 bolt action rifle 5.56 cal. It look somewhat like the C 7.The cost was much more that the C 7

The last time I have checked about cdts cleaning washrooms was no more.They must have  WHIMIS to handle the chemicals use to clean the rest rooms. Sounds like an unlawful order
