I don't know about soldiers being kept in Germany longer for this reason (I can neither confirm nor deny, as I don't know), but this was a serious concern when I got to Sunnybrook. All of the injured were quarantined immediately. Guests were required to don gowns, masks, gloves, and headwear...
I still like the Simpsons method;
Homer: "How do you tell who's insane and who's not insane"
Dr: "It's simple; whoever has this stamp on their hand is insane"
;D
Well... My question has been answered. And in record time (thanks again, dangerboy).
Unless someone wants to post it here, or discuss the procedure further, I think this one can be locked up or deleted... or whatever.
And, if anyone here is heading out to Wainwright next month for Ex Maple...
HLVW Air brake / start-up Aide-mémoire
I require a digital copy of this procedure... I know it does exist one way or another; either as an Aide-mémoire or just the rundown given on course. I had the Air brake start up procedure typed up on a wallet sized card, given to me on the HLVW/Air brake...
Yeah.. you posted the pic at the Maple Leaf Up forums quite a while ago.
It was this pic:
It's all coming back... I do vaguely remember that day. And, of course, I do remember you (specifically from the MLU forums and that parade). I rarely ever go on to the MLU forums, as I don't do much...
I was at the opening of the museum with Normandy Platoon, Highland Light Infantry of Canada (my regiments reenactment group). And I was there as the piper... and I think I was the only reenactment piper there.... sooo...
If this is the piper you remember:
And this is the carrier (one of them...
Wow... looks good thus far.
If, by chance, you need someone to, say, "beta test" the kit, I would be more than happy to build one of each (Bison, Coyote, TLAV and LAVIII). ;D I've been eagerly awaiting a LAVIII kit for years now.
This has already been addressed. As far as I'm concerned, this thread can be lock/deleted/whatever.
All I was looking for is what is already available online with a simple google search (just saves me a search)... of course, with the exception of the last request, which I have subsequently...
What?? Really??
???
What about this?
Hmmm... sound pretty hatefull to me... and all in writing.
Seems odd when the media sites this as well;
And, yet, what Mr. Hossain said and wrote was not criminal? interesting.
Gotta love this, though;
I guess it's not illegal to be an idiot.
I understand the concern in both respects.
This company does get photos from both GDLS and DND, but they're of stock vehicles which have never been used. Which may sound great, but not when the goal is a refit of vehicles currently in service. Another relating issue is that GDLS doesn't...
I'm not asking to have these photos posted here... And they are being used to improve the vehicles (specifically, Canadian vehicles).
If this is an issue to the mods here, then I will cease posting these questions here and rely solely on the few contacts I have to gain the same...
PHOTOs NEEDED!!
Here's one for the maintainers/VTECHs; I need some pics of the troop area, particularly the floor, of the LAVIII with the benches out and the panels off the floor... The engineers here want to see what's under the floor boards (dirt and grime included).
Shoot me a message if...
Thanks, PMedMoe... Now I have to find one, load it up, and carry it up some stairs... I even know of some stairs that are as narrow and steep as those found on a ship, right in the Cambridge Armoury (from the parade square to the balcony).
Not that I'd ever have to do this in real life, but I...
Well... I've reached the last, and most treacherous, hurtle in the TCAT/PCAT/MEL track... The AR/MEL.
Without going into detail; I have been assign MELs which essentially don't meet universality of service, and have be recommended for medical release. As it stands; my assisting officer and I...
I don't know about the ones from armedadvatage.ca, but the ones I have come with ribbons (for the drone cords)... but not the cords. I have an old set of brown/black cords for the field.
Okay... I'm home now... so here's the link: http://www.armedadvantage.ca/equipment/product1.html
These are made by the same person who made mine.
