Graham  The problem with that is they don't send the CRNC away until you pass the CFAT and physical fitness test.

I take it you will go to the Barrie office.  CFAT and Pysical Fitness testing is normally done within a week of you submitting your aplication.  Go in to get your application and do some research, but wait until you can pass the physical fitness test before you submit your application.

Some recruiting centres are different, in Toronto all you need is to walk in, do some research and pick up an application form, the recruiting staff will tell you what you need for the next visit.

I thought my earlier post was clear enough.  Don't complicate this more than it has to be.  Friends are ok, family is not ok, at least one has to have known you for five years, less is unacceptable.  All they have to be able to do is say "Johnny/Jane is a good boy/girl."

No, they still look at your transcripts. In the past they wanted to know where you lived, where you worked, if you were unemployed and where you went to school for the previous ten years. All they want now is to know where you have lived for the previous five years.
