We had like 7 atempting NSCE this year, and My CSM got like 99.9 or something that on his test.. Needless to say HE got the Best Lorne Scot Award... THe lowest score we had was like 84% I believe..

We have that problem when we do multi corps FTXs.. Like when we wne to Rattle Snake Point we were allowed  50 cadets and like 120 signed up saying they were interested.. We have more oppurtunities in our for optional exersises i guess.

You COULD look at it that way, or you could think of it as you get issued kit, so thatyou have everything that they have.. lol

they have to supply everythign that you need., if you dont have it theyre not going to make you walk around the camp naked. they want uniformity, so everyone will always be wearing the same things, and have the same things.

Yeah thats true too, but if we have an optional activity that say we can only take 50 cadets on, 130 people can't go on it because we're huge.

Believe me, its not fun having a huge corps. Harder to get noticed for something and way more slack cadets..

You should check out your options. Like I don't know if the Military in Australia is the same as in Canada but there is obviously going to be different areas that you can commit to. You should talk to your local recruitnig officer or even some in your cadet corps.

I think that it is more of a suggestion to quit cadets because your training for cadets interferes with your training for the reserves.. A girl who used to be in my section was in the reserves, and she ended up quitting because it was too much work to have to juggle cadets, the reserves, and...
