Yes, I am aware that "Rangers Lead the Way" is the motto of the US Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, but Ive heard some of the QY Rang guys say it as well. But i know it is not our motto.

Alright, thanks. I'm just in doubt about wether I should join Armoured of Infantry. Do any of you have any suggestions, about which you think is better?

Does anybody know if there are any Armoured snipers. Say for Armoured Recce or something.

I'm a Cdt Sgt, and i just got to fire the C7 a few months ago. And i completely agree with what HollywoodHitman said. Its a lot more fun to shoot a 5.56 round, then a pellet. And i think it would give much more intrest into the CF then just shooting a pellet gun.

Ive almost completed my Ghillie suit, made out of burlap, and old OD Combat Tunic, and an America BDU Tunic. I use if for Skill at Arms, and Paintball. Ranger

Were all those replies for the Reg. Force. And if so, how long would it take me to get into the reserves do you think.

I know that reservist and regular force RSO's supervise us while we are doing the shoot. This October in Borden we had Reg force from PPCLI and Queens own rifles helping supervise and instruct while we shot the C7.

If we changed some things, there would be no reason why we would have a failing military. Some of the Navy's equipment ( i don't know much about the Navy) like some of there ships will never be used. Ships who's main job is to protect against enemy subs, is quite useless. Most if not all...

What do you mean, prefer. As in drill only, or combat effectiveness. Or both. Personally I would take a C8, I find that carbines are most affective, especially if you're armoured.

You all had basically the same idea as me. I believe Humvees would have been a better choice, and they have been proven usefull on the battle field, they can be customized to suit almost any need, and they can go almost anywhere. I'm not to sure about the G-Wagons, does anybody know how...

My CO told me and the other seniours, that he is trying to get us on and FTX with the regiment. Also, we have a few guys from the Regiment come on FTX's with us, and i agree that its easyer that way.

Im joining Res. (Queens York Rangers) in a few months, and then going Reg. when i finish high school.

How long does it take from when you first go to the recruiter, until you are sworn in as a CF member? Or until you are off to basic?

Thats true, you do sign a contract before enlisting into the Reg. and you have to stay in until its done. So ur going to have to think about what you want to do, before joining.

Hey, we all know about the new G-Wagons, but do you think they were worth buying? What do you think would have been a better choice, and do you think that we would have been better off with Humvees?

When you get into the CF, do you get to pick a unit that you want to be in, and do you get to pick trade you want to do, eg. Armoured gunner, driver, infantry..ect? :threat: Rangers Lead The Way!
