An interesting, if somewhat out of left field prediction. Pity there is no link back to the original to run it through the translator, but the assumptions (looking at various market indicators) have been long understood and accepted in other contexts...
The USSF is already defining their battlespace (literally) as Cis-lunar space. Operating out of Earth Orbit provides huge manoeuvre space, strategic depth and allows the coverage of the Moon as a resource and logistics platform. SF by people like Ben Bova or Jerry Pournelle becomes real life...
I'm not clear what sort of "fact checking" you are looking for? We have a known event - the signing of peace accords and economic agreements, and we have an interview where a senior Administration figure tells us what steps led up to this process and outcome.
Perhaps the real issue should be...
Pulling the thread back to the topic at hand, here is an interview with Mike Pompeo which describes the outlines of how the President and Administration was able to make the deal happen. Some sources claim as many as five other nations will sign on, although I suspect that is a bit overblown - I...

Having lived out West during the "Let the Eastern Bastards freeze in the Dark" period, I certainly see where they are coming from. This also ties into several other areas (some of which have been discussed on various Army.ca threads, for those willing to look), such as the regional divides...
An interesting article which looks at adversaries in a different way. By stressing the "evolutionary" nature of warfare, where actions are met with responses, which spawn new measures and countermeasures, it suggests that in many ways, "we" might end up on the wrong end of the learning curve...
Disturbing to think the parallels are that close - is the US already in Bleeding Kansas territory?

This is a longer one, and not easy to snip, so follow the link.
Pointing out a massive oversampling is not quite the same as "viciously spinning". If the polls had a 10 point oversampling of Republicans to Democrats the critique would be just the same (maybe the top line numbers would be different, but the reason the poll was flawed would remain).
Stuff...
Well this is certainly well out of the box thinking:

We hear a lot about polls, but very little about the way they are conducted. After 2016, when Clinton was supposedly far ahead in the polls, you'd think that polls would be done differently to prevent such huge faceplants, but apparently not...
Not sure why Malwarebytes put up the warning - I use it and there was no warning on my computers. But be aware.
One more link (which I scanned) observing Antifa in action:
https://survivalblog.com/intelligence-gathering-protests-j-d/
Two interesting articles here. One purports to identify the structure of Antifa at the tactical level, and has details which resonate with my readings of insurgencies and Revolutionary Warfare Theory. What is missing in open source literature is the higher levels where planning and coordination...
Austin Bay looks at some of the larger picture. Belarus really would be of little interest to anyone except for it's geographic position.

The USMC's Blazer conceptually has most of what we want, and by focusing on GBAD it is relatively straightforward to get, train crews and operate. As a practical matter, we might want to stick with a 25mm chain gun as opposed to a 25mm Gatling gun (the ammunition expenditure alone would be...
On a more serious note, I found another David Kilcullen article which suggests that our current COIN theories may be reaching their limit, and the operational environment is changing. Since civil war in the modern age will resemble an evolved insurgency (uniformed armies are not going to spring...
Actually the only American politician who even suggested that the release of nuclear weapons on America's soil might be in play was Rep. Eric Swalwell, a California Democrat, in November 2018.
One can only wonder what was going through his head.
While this has been dormant for a while, here is David Kilcullen speaking about the possible flashpoints and triggers for a potential American Civil War:

Very interesting discussion
The hysteria surrounding President Trump actually conceals a much different story - a gradual change of the political demographics. This actually explains the direction of the Party as the demographic shift to the Republicans encompasses most of the groups that support modern Populism, while the...
