Military would be better to focus on coastline: Layton

:o ::) I used to have some respect for this man. After what the NDP has been blabbing in the media over the past couple of weeks and their recent convention in Quebec this doesn't surprise me. Jack Layton has no more shock value. Maybe I'll print this article out and clean something with it...

    Living out on SLT

West Side Downtown Montreal to the MEGA is a 30 minute drive for sure, that's with no traffic. If you're willing to put up with that go for it. You shouldn't have much traffic in the morning (everyone is going the other way), or in the evening either. Don't forget about commutes in winter...

    BIG Mistake!

At no point did I say they weren't, just re-enforcing the point. After all he wants to join the Army, nobody should have the expectation that they won't be in the line of fire. I'm sure it was put in the trade description for a reason.

    NCM to Officer Conversion,exemptions?

Disclamer - I'm no expert but I did speak with one Infantry MCpl last Dec (05) in St-Jean who was commissioning (he had PLQ). I asked him what courses he had to do after BOTC. He informed me he did indeed have to do CAP. Take it for what it's worth. I'm sure someone with more knowledge can give...
