I just noticed that the guys providing security for the PRT in Kandahar all seem to be carrying the c8fthb or what ever its called now.  Is this the norm now for everyone to be carrying the 16 inch in country?

I was just wondering what kind of maneuverability one has while wearing the RAV over top of our gen 3 frag vest with plates.  From pictures i've seen it looks like it is pretty bulky by itself.  Do you find you have problems going prone or crawling with both vests on?? zak

Quick question on the personal role radios being used by the athena guys.  In all of the pictures i have seen with guys with PRRs, i have yet to locate a pretzel switch of any sort.  Can anyone fill me in on where its located on teh soldiers bodys.  Aswell do the guys using them find them useful?

Has anyone here used the eotech sight used by some of the boys on their c8's in afgansitan.  If so, what are your thoughts.  Is it a good replacement for the c79??
