When I got my offer this past summer I wrote down the BOTP dates as 17 Jan - 22 Apr.
I've been accepted into pilot as well, my degree is a BSc. in Integrated Science (Computer Science Major).

I use some shorts from them that combine the advice of recceguy (bike shorts/lycra) with what looks like loose running shorts on the outside.
For longs runs I also use "BodyGlide".
