The issue isn't finding the contact information, it's that DMCPG is so overloaded with case files that they will not, as a published rule, respond to any inqueries from applicants.
In fact, if you send an email to their general open box it used to state exactly that. Though I don't know if it...
That is a mouthful right there, according to CMP policy, CT's are supposed to have priority over hiring people untrained. In actuality this is not how that it works, there is an allotment that is considered to have appeased that, rather then establishing complete priority. I don't think anyone...
Heh it's without a doubt a subject that touches a nerve for me. I know it happens, and when I encounter it I will try to fix it. It's the best I can do, and if someday I end up as a Snr Officer in CFLTC, or CLFRS...well...well well.
:bullshit: It is my firm opinion that this where the Course O needs to stand up and go Sir/Ma'am, respectfully, you're fubar. Yeah it's a shitty thing to have to do, but I've sat in that exact hot seat and done it, I expect my peers to do it. I don't want the Cpl Bloggins I pass on a course...
We pretty much do already, to give you an example my Comd has 3x Masters degrees. To be a Snr O in the Log Trade it is the unspoken rule you need a masters degree. I don't know of any majors that do not either have it, or are working on it...
Nearly impossible to tell. Usually BMQ is granted qual, but depends on your time in uniform and the boards feelings on you if they like you. I've never heard of someone having to redo bmq, but if you have less days in uniform then the total of a Reg Force BMQ over that year I could see it...
Sounds stupid...to be fair though, I have no idea what a C3 is and have never seen one...that I'm aware of.
I will state that I just redid my range quals, and over 50% of the people there were identified as having failed the range. It was good, and somewhat frightening to see.
I don't understand it, I won't understand it. If we lower the training bar, and still need the same results, we will not get the training time we NEED unless we fail people as they should be failed and the higher ups see OH SHIT this doesn't work.
I expect them to pay attention during the training. For instructors to pay attention to students and identify which ones are not paying attention and make them do so to the best of their abilities. For those that refuse to learn? I expect them to fail. Following that I expect them to be...
:bullshit:
If I was your course officer, those MCpls and Sgts would swing. There's ways to give subtle hints, yes, but showing answer sheets? This is by no means the standard. Frig set the damn standard.
Ah, ack. Hopefully he or she sorts themselves out and finds the time to ask proper questions if they want members to spend time giving proper answers. ::)
Only if you want to, I've watched plenty of officers follow the example of "Bad Leadership" imitating poor leadership, because it made their lives easier rather then standing up and doing the right thing. As a senior subbie, it's hard to chew out the 2lts, when the shitty example they are...
I wasn't aware that the scale of entitlement changed from base to base. Usually it's ignorant, or a willfully opposed supply system that is the issue in gettin much of the kit that you're actually allowed to issue. Plus a lot of places have "internal policies" which aren't strictly kosher with...
