Another cool show yesterday!! Too bad about the guy that called it quits...What happens to him, does he leave the military, or does he gets qualified on another aircraft? :skull:
I'm at CMR-St-jean, and you got a lot of people here that have been in the same province all their lives, it's not an uncommom thing here! A major here switch from being a Vandoo to a Pso just so he could stay in the area!! :blotto:
Well yes it's true that you have to go to PFT, then BFT training before your selected to do Helicopter training. I read that before about very experienced airplane pilots going to Helicopters...but your not a very experienced pilot comimg out of PFT, and BFT!! I guess people were hard on you...
If he wants quiet.......well i'm from a small town in New Brunswick, just move in a small town!!! Why is he living in TO if he wants it so quiet?? I was at my first airshow in 2005 in Oshawa, best time I ever had without my pants down!
Short answer, is no! You need to be a citizen of the Us of A. Maximum age is 35, and that's in the army Warrant officer program. In Europe, most of the country's maximum age for pilot is 25.
So does that mean you fly horrible the first flights, then do that much better on your last ones?? Must be somebody here that can clearify this, who have worked there!!
