I'm looking of going the reserve pilot route. I have 200 hours of helicopter time; I just need an extra 300 hours to be considered. I also have 60 hours of fixed wing flying, but they don't count that at all.

Maybe a bit off topic, but here goes...For infantry reserve officier, is Cap given one summer, then phase 3 the next summer, and so on. Or is there another way it can be done faster?? Thank you for all your help!

I have another question...What if your in a reserve unit, can you transfer to another reserve unit accross the country? Anyone knows how that works, if at all?

The University of New Brunswick has an aviation program that gives you your commercial license, and you business in aviation management degree.

First, there is never a shortage of experienced helicopter pilots. Second, if it took your friend 10 years to get  a first officer job in the helo world, I might evaluate the company, or skills of the pilot. I have many friends that starting from 0 to second chair in 2-3 years. Transport Canada...

If I joined now as a Log. Officer, then a year down the road became a Pilot...can that be done?
