I can tell you from personal experience... My trade was closed, and they opened a spot. The person in charge of your transfer in Ottawa will put a request in and they might open a spot before the new FY.

Hey Fuscia! My first advice is to be patient, the recruiting process can be a pain. I applied in Sept 2008, got in the Reserve in May 2009, now transfering to the Regular force in January 2010... I haven't got any training yet and I can't wait. For now the only thing that I have noticed right...

It is the same training, at the same place, it has to look somewhat the same... but it is with new rectruits though so overall it is a new story.

From my experience, you are not loaded on a BMQ onless you have a job offer. A lot of people are currently waiting for new spots to open in april 2010... from what I know, none of them will start basic training before they get a job offer. Ask your CFRC.

That is right... Also in my case, at the interview the captain gave me my score.... I did not ask for it and I don't know if it is common... but she told me like it was normal for her: "oh! did you get your CFAT score?"
