Good stuff! I was told last week they got word from Ottawa I'm officially in. Just waiting to be assigned to a "group." Not completely sure what that means, but I'll take it
I bought a book on the ASVAB test too. It did help a lot because the questions were quite a bit more difficult then the actual test. This is the one I bought http://www.amazon.ca/ASVAB-Basics-6-e-Arco/dp/0768915279/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1212930289&sr=8-15 They do have a newer edition...
I only wanted Infantry when I went to do my test. The only thing is, do you really want to just do one thing the rest of your life? Its easy now to say you do. Later down the road you may want to be a MedTech or something. So just do the best you can because I think you can only do the test...
They used to have a question to ask about that....how fast you can run x amount of km. They still kind of do. It will ask about physical activities you are involved in. They will ask you in the interview about these activities you do to keep in shape. It is assumed you already are in shape.
-UPDATE-
Took a extra couple weeks because I had a small problem with my background check. They told me I got the job and I will hear in the next 5-7 days about everything else.

It went a little something like this:
"Does this letter tell me that I have been rejected for some reason? Most people who get their acceptance receive a phone call instead of the letter. I am very nervous and have dedicated myself 200% to this for the last 8 months"
You seem to be talking like you have years and years of military service. Have you even been to BMQ yet? But you are also entitled to your own opinion and nobody here can change that.

Wrote my CFAT yesterday and all I can say is I was so nervous because of all the stuff I read here haha It went well though. I qualified for a full page of stuff from cook to med to dentist.
I'm not even going to say if it was easy or hard because that is just my opinion and will not help you...
So this is just some tips and stuff that has helped me to get in better shape. Any comments or anything are welcome

Can't help you much here. Go to Amazon and get a up-to-date ASVAB study guide. I never saw one for the Canadian test on Amazon. You can pick it up for about $20. Math.com...
