Some catchy words in there, Tolerances are across the board, some tighter then others. All achievable by trained...
Seas Span is a large company that has multiple divisions.
Again cheap dollar and limited yard space.
Outside of the Canadian Military recently, how many ships (major and small) does Seaspan build in their BC yards?
Yes they do lots of maintenance and dry dock work.
I thought we were buying the Aussie Arctic Over-the-Horizon Radar system. This should in itself calm the US and their NORAD complaints. Couple that with the Remaining DEW site radars up north and add a few (lots of these) Interceptor missiles and we have a winner.
They buy natural resources...
Cheap dollar and limited yard space does that for clients.
How many major ships do they work on, how many Military ships outside of Canadian ones. Ask New Zealand how their upgrade went?(yes there was many factors involved, but the yard did not build a strong case for itself).
Yet indications are the F16 will be in service with the US military until at least 2048 and longer if they can push the airframes past the 12000hr mark. We are looking at 20-25years from now. Which means it might not be a bad idea to buy a decent 4.5 gen aircraft.
I don't think we will see many of the 4-4.5 Gens going anywhere soon. The F16, 15 etc will be around for another 15-20 years.

I will always be a dual fleet even tri fleet person. 1 Platform does not do it all, no matter how much we want to believe it will. We also open ourselves to fleet wide groundings with a single fleet.

I think this is a way for Ukriane to entice Europe to release some of the seized Russian money.
I doubt it, Canada needs to make its own choices. I don't think Ukraines deal makes any effect on what we do in regards to Aircraft.
When Canada scaled back their NATO fighter Pilot training program...

Practical application is a check in the box for their next promotion/ postion/appointment. Call...
Canada was always after 6th Gen Fighters and the Tech behind them.
We will need to have intern fighters until the tech is their for AI jets.
Part of the F35 program was to command and control multiple wingman jets. I believe it was up to 4 per F35, that was a pipedream.
Time going forward...
