    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

I don't think that the army identifies with green anymore.

    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

So if I'm tracking one Division of 3 x CMBG One Division of 10 x CBC One Support Division And a training establishment In place of geographic divisions, we will have functional ones. In a way is this at least at first going to result in less support functions for the ARes? At the very least...

    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

There's the rub in the reserves when it comes to serving two masters at the same time. I've seen Battle School say that instructors are not required to do unit training and seen the unit completely blow that off and they then that they are Class B and they belong to the military, so they will...

    Women's Rugby World Cup

I didn't realize it, but apparently their is a difference between the haka done by men and women, with the women's Rugby team modifying it even further.

    Women's Rugby World Cup

I suppose by tradition I am required to support England (because Scotland has been eliminated). If it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't have known that this was happening.

    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

I'm referring to the graph that presented each unit as being reduced to a sub-unit. 250 (actual) and 320 (authorized) are approximates from my own unit I am referring to that specific example. 120 is the approximate size of a dismounted Infantry company. I am well aware of the extra elements...

Well, there are enough committees for this, that, and the other thing...it's pretty close.

    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

If you take a unit with an authorized strength of 320 and shrink it to 120, and don't alot the positions elsewhere, that is a force reduction of 200 for one unit, that potentially 1000's of positions across the CAF. Some of them aren't currently filled, but many of them are. We aren't talking...

I believe my kind went to war last time someone tried to force that book on us.

I'm well aware, I was just asking about the apparent Force Reduction that is being talked about here.

    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

If you take a unit that has 250 soldiers and tell them they can only have 120 now, what is supposed to happen to the other 130?

    Informing the Army’s Future Structure

Given the fact that there are many reserve regiments who compliments much larger than a company, how would the military reduce them in strength? Would they try to create incentives for extra people to leave the military, or would they not allow these units to recruit until they shrunk below...

    A Deeply Fractured US

Perhaps we may start to see these types of events moving inside. It may mean that not as many can attend, but it is potentially an option.

    A Deeply Fractured US

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=rfk+speech+martin+luther+king I am of course not comparing Charlie Kirk to MLK, but I think some of statements in this video are very relevant to some people on both sides of the political spectrum tonight.

    A Deeply Fractured US

I think that it would be unfortunate if the conversation around his assassination revolved around gun control and not the real issue at hand, where it is becoming more and more common to commit violent acts because you disagree with someone in the United States. Now, of course, that has always...

Well, once it was merged, the union would exist anymore, or it would be an illegal organization.

Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

Now that the CCG is part of DND, it is likely only a matter of time before we eventually see them merged into the CAF. The government may few times before it happens, but I think that we will eventually see it.
