Im not expert and nor will I pretend to be. But from a utility perspective is there some wisdom in having some Hawker Hurricanes to our Supermarine Spitfires? A cheaper workhorse for less complex tasks?
Abrams isnt the be all end all of armoured warfare. Its crazy heavy, logistically greedy and given our propensity to add-on armour, itll get even heavier.
It has its benefits but lots of downsides too.
So forced relocations?
Facetious but the point stands. How do you balance power when 25 million people live in the middle and 8 million people live on the left side of the map? I think a PR electoral system might help a bit but elections would still generally be decided by the time Winnipeg...
None have been adopted. Closest would be Slovakia who is actively considering them and Poland who used a CV90 to prototype the PL-01 which never reached production. Cool concept all the same.
I would have concerns about ammo allocation though, Im not sure how many 120s it can carry, probably...
If theyre smart they get IFVs and and Med Cav at the same time. There needs to be some sort of firepower distinction though, like CV90120 or in a pinch CV90105. Whats the point of a cavalry vehicle that brings nothing that the IFV can't?
BC always needed to consent. Narural resources are provincial - if they have a hesitation about a pipeline in their territory thats their constitutional right. What is AB doing to negotiate beyond a history of "threatening to turn off the tap"? Money talks. I dig the conspiracy theory you added...
The Heavy is getting an AHSVS style fuel pod so it can take at least 15000kg on the back. I hope they buy a shit ton of them.
Link to the fuel pod brochure online - fyi it opens a pdf directly.
Fair enough. Something the reserves is severely lacking on the logistics side are A1/A2 ech trucks. MSVS Milcots is generally fine as a cargo but we need desperately need everything else. Fuellers, LHS, HIAB, etc. An LVM fuel pod and LVM LHS for ammo would be a godsend to reserve armour units.
