    Flying A Helicopter

Inch, the explanation just needs to be a high level overview.  The pilot is a former pilot with flying experience.  I appreciate the many tips I've had from you, however, I do not intend to go into too much detail. Is it possible to explain what type of Power Supply is needed and how I can hook...

    Fancy Dress

One of the great things I casually enjoyed about being a serviceman was the many fancy dress rigs some of us had. I once recall about fifty of us going down the town dressed up as cowboys and indians. We split up and started our sessions at different ends of the town. We arranged to recreate The...

    Happy Ho-Ho-Holidays!

Christmas is always a special time of year.  When I served as a bootneck I used to head into town on a drinking session during the lunch time and evening with friends.  It was my way of letting my hair down.  However, some times I used to cut my leave short and meet up with some of my marine...

    Any Ideas - Training Injury

Thanks for the advice.  It doesn't hurt when I push.  I can pull with it.  It hurts most if I upright row a weight. Althought not a heavy weight.  Or if I'm seated and lean over to lift my brief case it hurts too, as I lift it. Do you still think its a tear or a strain? Cheers Steve

    Any Ideas - Training Injury

Guys I've been training hard in the gym recently and was doing a seated rowing exercise when I suddenly felt a deep burning sensation in my right forearm.  I'm sure it wasn't a tear.  Anyway since then its been as sore as hell and hurts like mad when I lift things up.  I've trained with lighter...

    Morons

They're just morons really.  I think they feel they want to try and prove themselves but in reality they prove nothing.  If they want to be tough men they should join the armed forces and experience, hardship, friendship, Loyalty and Fear.  If they did this they wouldn't be so pathetic. May be...

    Morons

Guys, gladly the young soldier has now left hospital and is on the road to recovery.  I hope one day he returns with a couple of his colleagues and takes his retribution. Its annoying isn't it.  You go off to join the military machine that defends the country and thats the type of reception you...

    Morons

I recently read in the local Newspaper about a young soldier who was viciously assaulted by several people after a night out. This is the area where I grew up and went home on leave when I served in the Marines. I used to get a load of crap and offers of violence off the locals, but I didn't...

    Decisions, Decisions

When I turned 18 years old I was courting strong with a lovely shapely young girl who was around the same age as I was.  She wanted to get engaged with a strong view to marriage.  True love and all that!! If Only I Got The Chance To Say Thank You

After I left the corps I had a problem with settling down into civvy street and received a bit of guidance along the way. There was a former matelot whom I met. He was a chiropractor and treated me for a kneck problem. He also guided me into the world of Ninjutsu, which truly did help me to...
