How do you "break off" a military for an independent Scotland?

You'll have to get in line behind the Jacobite pretender (discounting that a Jacobite claim has not been made since 1807.... this is an opportunity). Time to remove extraneous glassware.

The US Navy's Gerald R. Ford Class Aircraft Carriers (updates)"

I'll own the flight deck length vs beam typo ... Curious to know how the sensitive electronics both onboard and enplane are going to be protected from the magnetic waves rolling across the flight deck but I'm not expecting any kind of a detailed answer other than "shielding".

CDS to CTV: Canada "Well ahead of many of our NATO allies" on vets

One could argue by the same logic that he shouldn't be praising another government department and/or a policy enacted by Parliament either.

    Map symbol for OP

As a matter of pure pointless/pedantic/historical interest; when did Recce pick up/adopt the slash symbology? considering the slash was historically (at least until WWI {??}) used for Cavalry. I can certainly see the association with the auxiliary role of scouting associated with the Cavalry...

A Questionable Point to Raise on Memorial Day

Well, it isn't like they have anything named Camp Bedford Forrest  (anymore ... apparently there was a Camp Forrest in WWII). Considering that Regimental Colors {sic} of some regiments from the southern states carry CSA Campaign Streamers I think it will be a long time before there is any...
