If this ends up winning due to the fact that for class C reservist it goes back to time of injury and not release I'm wondering if that includes all the oversease allowances like risk and hardship? If it does then that's going to have a massive impact on reserve guys injured oversease.

Why is this posted under military discounts? The main article talks about transition services for veterans which is paid for by the Ontario government. I get the parks part is more of a discount but is a minor paragraph in the announcement. Maybe mods should consider putting it back under VAC...
Looks like a new pilot project in Trenton from the Ontario government to help the transition.
There is also this benefit.

Your CIA supplement is not tax free it is taxed and they include it with your IRB. They just don't show it as a separate line in your VAC account. Your APSC was granted to level 2 and that is tax free.
Don't know if this has been posted before but it looks like VAC is working towards improving the wait times and have been trialing some things since August 2018. Have a read thru.

I'm in the exact same position as you. I have not done the reassessment yet I found the policy. On the menu part click DEC status -follow up. Tells you if you would need a follow up.

No, the disability tax credit is not dependent on income. Here is the eligibility criteria. The criteria is pretty strict so it's good to have a doctor that's willing to help explain things better for them. Remember they don't care about the criteria VAC uses for disability...
After being declared DEC you may have one more assessment done 2 years later. You can apply for the disability tax credit the form is online and you take it to your doctor who then sends it to CRA for approval.
Here is how to apply...
If you are on LTD thru SISIP and have the education available thru them you can't receive ETB. However you can still receive the ETB after sisps school or the rehab program.
If you are considered DEC by VAC you can't get ETB.
As per VAcs policy. I tried to copy the important pieces that might relate to you but read through the entire policy at the link.

It's odd that the wait time tool is so out of whack considering they are updating it weekly. Really makes you wonder how they get there info every week?
ThereĀ Facebook page has extension 2845 listed could try calling that. Summer time can be a more difficult time to get ahold of people but there will still be people working.
If that doesn't work and you have contact for one of the clerk's at 32 CER ask them if they can give you a number for...
I found one rather big misleading benefit from VAC is the 1% career progression which you get if DEC and under 20 years of service and under age 65. Now VAC had said those receiving CIAS would still be eligible but what they didn't tell anyone is that your protected amount which has the CIAS...
Strange I submitted a claim 21 March 2019 it showed up about 3 1/2 weeks later at step 2 however VAC has all my medical info there's nothing for then to request document wise.
