Referencing a webpage in a memo

However, if your are referencing something like a CFAO, QR&O, CBI  which are mostly electronic now.  You would still just put the pub ref not the web site.  For example: Refs. A.  CFAO 49-4 para 2 B. CBI 209.43

    Commuter Allowance- Merged Thread

Fortunate for me I had an Infantry MCpl who was very switched on and did a lot of the grunt work (pardon the pun) for me.  There were weekly mail runs between the two locations and of course lots of phone call, faxes, and emails.  I would go there every couple of months or if something special...

    Commuter Allowance- Merged Thread

Actually it can happen that way.  I was the Chief Clerk (RSS) with the G&SF.  The HQ, on paper and my posting message, is in Owen Sound.  However, my office was in the armory in Barrie.  Which is bout 130 km away.

    reenlisting within 5 years

Regardless of rank.  New Terms of Service (TOS) spell out how much longer you can serve.  They have nothing to do with pay or promotions.

    reenlisting within 5 years

You will keep the same rank and pay.  Nothing changes until you are eligible to promoted to the next rank.

    retirement before end of contract

In a nut shell, 2 percent pension for every year served and severance pay of 1 week pay for every year served.  Go talk to your release clerk, they will give you accurate numbers based on your current situation.

You deplane at the AMU (big hangar, not much lounge room though) right next to the civilian terminal.  Landed there several times myself.

    CANFORGEN on Pay and PIL

You would have got it when you released from the reserves.  Provided you had enough time in to be entitled to it.

    CFSA 100

I unknowingly overpaid mine.  20 some years later I got a cheque for the difference plus interest.  Oh and a T4 so I could claim the interest as income.  Go figure.

Questions about the "One free flight"

I have been using the Christmas flights for me and my son for many years.  (Round trip)  I have never ever had any problems.  I was traveling on the 707 and the Polaris though.  I have heard stories of the flights covered by the Herc being delayed due to mechanical problems.

College students reinvent the wheel with spherical drive motorcycle

Gee, I was going to spend my severance pay on a Harley.  But I don't want to be stereotyped. Maybe I'll get a Vespa instead.  ;D

    Question - Reservist Pay Scale

Your salary is a daily rate.  So it doesn't  mater if you work one day a month or 30 days a month.  It is still that same daily rate.  What will change is the your take home pay, as taxes etc will change the more days in a month you work.
