My views are pretty straight forward:
A pastor who wanted to burn a Quran was halted @ the Border ... I know I know, it had nothing to do with his media travesty a year ago , but passport issues. Sure. ! :rage:
Some sympathizers in this country will show up Imran Khan's event. Said...
I understood that part. But as the one individual wrote above ... maybe they are processing when they shouldn't be? Maybe they are for next year? Maybe Maybe Maybe!
We were just wondering if they are changing some standards this year where processing will continue.
Thanks
I also said please clarify in the event I am reading things incorrectly. I now have just seen your explanation...which leads to more questions.
How often are "in service" reservations filled completely? Is this an annual recurrence in which there is a deadline for "in-service" candidates ? ...
So then what you're saying is one centre could show "no more pilots" while another centre is showing " 10 more to go" ? Could you clarify please?
Thanks
So they could have 15 people merit listed right and not offer them positions (assuming they are not as competitive) ? In which case they would schedule another air crew session and increase the candidate pool?
I guess the best question is - do they have enough people right now on the merit...
I would do more than two years. I would demonstrate that you have the capacity to learn and the desire/dedication to succeed. It depends how badly you want a career. Some people have gone to school for 4+ years to be granted a third shot.
Just because you failed to reach the cutoff for said...
Good for Seneca ?
My layman opinion / inquisition - is there a big difference between a candidate attending the Seneca program and getting a "technological" degree as opposed to another aviation college student getting their diploma with licenses followed by 1-2 years of Uni and a degree...
The idea that F18s will replace the snowbirds is nothing short of laughable and obviously a little too optimistic. Costs range 15-20 more than 40 year old tutors ... Try getting that one by parliament.
That being said, many would have you believe the slow speed of the jets can be considered...
Are these seneca slots completely separate from DEO? Anyone have an idea how many DEO slots have been filled? I understand that when they hit a certain # .... the process stops. Some insight into how many have been hired would be great. Lot's of people waiting @ different stages.
Those french mirages actually stopped in Thunder Bay for 2 days. The probe on one of the Mirage jets broke off while attempting to fuel somewhere in Northern Ontario. Pilot seemed quite stirred!
Was quite the treat
Just a few questions.
Any word on how how many spots remain for DEO pilot this year? Is there any chance that they may load more candidates on aircrew come September? (if their quota is not filled of course) . Just trying to get a feel for the process and what my chances are for this year...
I agree with our previous CDS. Let's be frank, the UN is a bureaucratic nightmare and has arguably cost more people their lives over the years instead of doing what the organization was designed to do. The minute you invoke the "UN" card, I can assure you that you will receive no funding 24...
Rob,
Two years ago I would have to wholeheartedly agree with you. This of course is coming from a person who just steamrolled a degree in two years to try and make this possible. This is where I disagree with you, and I endorse a system which is the same for all applicants. After graduating...
