I'm not surprised by this either. Knowing how to press buttons with software and apps that are specifically designed to make things easier is hardly tech savvy, nor is it multitasking. You can also dial a range in if you are forced to estimate or pick it from a map.  I have heard anecdotal evidence that they are quite accurate, assuming you have the correct range.

Wow, this thread has been dead for a while.  Time to revive. In an extreme test of manhood, I took my car past the E on the gas gauge.  There was actual daylight between the pointer and the line.  What makes this even more extraordinary, is that I did it with my Wife in the car!
