Ok, well, cplkogan, I am afraid to tell you that, yes,crooks.a is correct. You do not HAVE to shoot the C7/C8 to pass any cadet course. Sorry. It is recommended but not mandatory. You cannot be forced to shoot a weapon to pass(medical issues,etc..) a course. Ubique

You are quite correct. The MP5 is currently used by the Navies boarding parties and our SOCOM community. It is not a front line land forces weapon.  Wpns Tech (L) do not train on the MP5 during QL3 or QL5, maybe on the QL6 as a foreign small arm. Te meat and potatoes of our trade are the C7...
