    Individual Meal Pack (IMP) [Merged]

Let's hope so... I honestly don't mind IMP's that much... After a couple of weeks it gets a bit awful but otherwise, meh. I will say though, when getting food is the highlight of your day, it can really sap you, when you get something that just turns your stomach..... :blotto: *edited, used...

    Individual Meal Pack (IMP) [Merged]

Ugg, I can just see the frowns on the faces of the troops that get those... That's going to be great for moral when it's wet and freezing... Btw, IIRC I have seen up to $11 per box lunch, being spent. Again, I am not entirely confident of that number because I have seen smaller numbers as well...

    How does GPA compare?

When I was applying, I was told that the CF would only recognize an assessment by the International Assessment Service of Canada. There are a number of different ways to get an assessment, and the poster didn't specify.

    How does GPA compare?

Since you went to a foreign university you need to have your transcript evaluated by an outside assessment agency.  I had these people do it for me, as directed by my recruiting officer: http://www.icascanada.ca/ It will cost you a couple hundred dollars. That said, you went to a UK school...

I know this is an old thread and this response it a bit dated but I wrote the following letter a few weeks ago and thought it would be appropriate to share it here. Miss you, Jack. I'm always proud of my fellow service members, and I always feel proud when I put on the uniform and I see that...

    Medium Support Vehicle System

Thanks for the heads up! Question. What is wrong with the MSVS Milcot? I know that the AHSVS is based very heavily on a civilian truck, so I don't know why the MSVS Milcot can't be modified to fulfill the role of the MSVS SMP?

    Medium Support Vehicle System

I saw this in the news but I am a bit confused as to what is happening. Isn't the MSVS supposed to be the MLVW replacement? Or is there a second contract associated with the MSVS, or is the National Post mixing things up. Either way, the author of this article...

Currently in PRES BMQ. Any issues starting a new prescription for ADD/ADHD meds?

If you have been on medication to treat ADHD, then you would know that the ADHD drugs are 1) not designed to be taken on and off 2) are designed to be part of lifestyle change and are to be taken under the supervision of a Psychiatrist. If you are going on ADHD drugs, you SHOULD be taking them...

    WTB - Deactivated Webley Revolver

Greetings all! I'm looking for a Deactivated Webley Revolver, located within Canada. I do know there are a number for sale over in the UK, and across the boarder in the USA, but simply put, even buying and shipping a deactivated weapon is too much hassle. In particular, I'm looking for a...

A 36 years youngwoman and going for it

Just wanted to drop by and say hi. I am in the middle of BMOQ, and there are a number of candidates, here, that are between 35 to 45. And, I am impressed to say, some of them are running circles around the really young, arrogant, little poop's, in the troop! Keep working and don't give up...
