Well, Swanita...as my last name is Swan some of the guys in my section just started calling me swanita during a training weekend & it stuck also, i get hot lips quite a bit cause i have pretty damn nice lips if i do say so myself  :P, luckily don't get that one TOO much!

What i don't understand is why "protest" against something like having military recruiters come to a CAREER fair.....how about you just walk by that booth & carry on with the rest of the fair? Does anyone really care what these people have to say? Let them carry on in their own "teeny"...

When i did my thing in 1996 i had my CFAT one day & then had the medical & interview another day. Took from mid-July and was sworn in with my unit September 3 of that year. Too bad is isn't all that quick! Enjoy  :cdn:

Then maybe it's time that people vote for a politician who will actually work towards decreasing wait times for people. Instead of keeping head stuck in the sand & just complaining about health services or lack thereof.

Born in Montreal, family left when i was 4 then off to Vancouver till i was 9....to Toronto for a year, Vancouver for another year...to Montreal for a few weeks & finally Etobicoke. Moved many times around Etobicoke & currently in Brampton.

I agree with both mdh & aesop081. To some the Snowbirds & demo teams may seem useless but they get the military into the public eye showcasing some of their talents. It would be a shame to see them go.

Totally agree....especially in the "Radio Chatter" thread. Not like this was posted in the Canadian Army forum. People need to seriously lighten up & not take everything so seriously. It was strictly a "fun" read. Enjoy without dissecting.  ;D
