I remember hearing sometime ago that if you'd done your basic at the most 5 years ago then wouldn't have to redo it....but this just something i heard & do not know definitively, sorry. Good Luck!

Remember, if you aren't eating enough your body goes into "survival mode" thinking it has to conserve what food does come into the system & does that by slowing down the metabolism. However, you still need to eat fewer calories that use up to loose weight....Stick with the advice given...

That sounds like a great idea but i'm sure would get a huge negative response because of the work it would entail & the number of staff that might then need to be involved. But would be one option to ensure the PT level is upkept. Obviously would be even harder on the reserve side of...

I agree, how is it that a recruit can pass the PT test during the recruiting process but when they get on their course....can barely do one push-up?!?! I have also found that quality has gone downwards over the last few years....the sad part is that the ones that do get through are the "top...

I finally finished school until September & would like some suggestions on books to read. Not looking for any romance type shite, which I'm sure no worries on here!....Maybe something along the lines of semi-intellectual or horror type stuff?!  ??? Suggestions would be great! Thanks!!  :D

Last when i was in gagetown there were no beer vending machines, but drinking was allowed (i was staff at the time) or we just drank there anyways  ;).

On my reserve basic, i was 20 & there was a male & a female who were both 30 and did very well. Depends on a number of factors with physical abilities & level of motivation being part of it as well. Only you can determine that!

Not entirely sure if you'll be able, check with your orderly room. But it's worth it if you'll be there for quite a while as spending money on taxis to get to Fredericton is a pain in the you know what. Yes, in my opinion, having a car in gagetown is worth it. May i suggest going with someone...

I'm an ESTP...been in army reserves in infantry for 9 years now.

My faves, & those i think are the coolest, are CSI & CSI: Miami...CSI NY didn't really catch my interest as much as the other two have. I'm also a fan of ER but i think MASH is still the coolest show of all time!!!
