Just to...
I apologize container i didnt mean to offend by making that second post with the information you must've replyed just as i hit submit haha. I was just putting it out there for people that dont know what digital/electronic fingerprints are. Thanks again
The more i read the more i think that it is worth the extra oney as finger prints at the opp only cost 26.50 and these digital ones cost 50. But the cut in time seems worth it.
As well for anyone in my shoes that is reading this and is curious what digital prints are and are in the same boat as...
Yes after some research last night i found that it will cost about 50 dollers and i can get them done in ottawa or kingston which either way isnt that far for me.
I could possibly take the day off but the problem is that i just started the job this week and my roll on the team is fairly...
Hello everyone,
My question is wether they take digital finger prints or does it have to be ink and roll.... i talked to the security guy and he said he wasnt sure but he thought they only did ink and roll (Hence why im asking is because he sounded really really unsure)
My reason for asking is...
After alot of consideration and phone calls... Yesterday after i got the phone call saying that i need to get fingerprints in (which im doing today) and that the average turnaround right now is 9-12 months I got to thinking ... what can i do to better myself for an interview in 12 months, and...
i was just curious thats all as the recruiter said that they just gotta make sure its me and he only way to do it is via finger prints. Also probably after all this i will be able to get in alot smoother next year so heres hoping for next year just gotta keep researching keep the fitness up and...
I believe it is because of my record its not a usual part of the process but it could take 5 weeks could take a year nobody has a definitive answer i dont really see why this is important as you have to get it done at basic anyways so if anyone coul shine some light on that itd be perfect.
Yes im back to inform everyone that i do need to get my fingerprints done at a local MP shack or local opp detachment. So i figure im goin to run to the opp detachment this aft get them done and run them directly to ottawa to maybe cut down on some of the mail time.... plus gives me a reason to...
Ill also try to keep this post as "fresh" as i can with updates of exactly what hurdles such as criminal background, debt etc and some of the other areas I have already touched on and what I've done to overcome these hurdles.
As well if any of you new guys have a question but you're afraid of...
I dont have a problem with this being stickyed at all I think I got everything that I found important in the process it's just i noticed the last kind of "tip to recruit post" was in 2005 and alot of policys have changed since then.
As well I figure even if my record does affect me and I cant...
Also i forgot to mention that i also have personel debt the amount wasn't much but as we all know because we all use the search feature in this forum before we post right????? its not the amount of personel debt that is the problem but they want to make sure you are a person of "good...
Hello everyone,
Its been a very busy week for me as i had my medical/interview, and it was awesome the medical portion was good i had to get some medical paperwork but because of this forum i knew this as a possibility so booked all my medical appointmentss a day after my interview... so when...
Yes thank you for the clarification, say for example you get an overall score of 27 on your first test and you dont like that and rewrite it in 90 days and score say a 20 they take the 20 as your score and if that reduces the occupations that are available to you thats the risk you run.
Like...
To further answer this after writting the test the first time there is a 90 day waiting period before you can rewrite it the second time.
NOTE: If you score lower on the second test, it doesnt matter that is score so take the time prepare and rock it the first time.
Also after the second time...
So i was talking to my lawer today and he says the court will be willing to drop the charges if i can prove my intent to join the military. (im not using the military to get out of the charge as i applyed and everything before this whole situation arose). Now some people have told me i can get a...
Because at the time the crown was talking about dropping the charge all together so it wasnt a concern of mine at that particular time but unfortunatly theyve decided now (as of friday) they want a peacebond and because this has been going on already for 4-5 months (without me waiving my right...
Yes i've also discussed that BIG IF with the recruiters and if by mid april they are not opened up the recruiter will sit down with me and discuss other possibilitys within the CF with trades that are open at that time. Like i say i just wanna get my life started not saying i wanna get into...
Thank you for your quick reply i guess i was just kindof looking for anyone with personal experiance in this matter so when i go into the recruiters tomorrow and talk to them i can go in a little bit more informed and educated on the matter... as i know sometimes the recruiters arnt aware of...
