While I support press freedom there are times when common sense, good judgement, good taste and ethics should rule.  I have as little respect for the so-called 'journalists' who published this as I have for the Taliban

George with all due respect do you really think someone like him can be 'educated'.  Certainly I support educating and sensitizing people at the grassroots level because many of them just do not know any better, but this man is a legislator for God's sake!

I agree with him parliament should spare him their outrage, instead just shoot him, throw him in a pit and bury him while he's still breathing.  Nothing upsets me more than when people defend inhumane practices by arguing that they're centuries old 'traditions'.

Some very interesting comments by a former Russian naval officer on the capability of the Black Sea Fleet to destroy the current NATO fleet in the Black Sea in 20 minutes.  Would like to hear the opinion of the Navy.ca guys on this, wishful thinking on his part or a credible scenario...

I find this thread informative as I have an interest in possibly researching visible minorities, including women, in the Canadian military.
