Those IRG boatcrews don't know how lucky they are to be alive, that was extreme provocation.  Somehow I suspect that if there is a next time the IRG won't be so lucky, but then again maybe that's what they're hoping for, provoke an incident and then cry bloody murder.

Couple of great vids.  The first is of a sleek Chinese destroyer, any of you guys know the name of this class and when the first one was commissioned?  the second is some Russian Navy aircraft carrier footage, not too crazy about the music but the footage is awesome...

While Kaplan makes a good point I have to say that Canada seems to be an interesting exception.  For years Canadian society has seemed to be (at least from my point of view) one that believes there is little worth fighting for.  Yet despite this it has fielded a military that while underfunded...
