    Work software for home use

I don't know what is the policy on USB key, but something that *might* be allowed on DWAN computers. Portable apps http://portableapps.com/ Since you don't actually have to "install" anything  hence you don't mess with the computer's integrity I suppose there could be a little debate on this.

Actually I think that is a very bad idea, well first of all here's a civvie example, I work for First Canadian Title and we are rated among one of the best company across the country on many perspective, our bigger brother company is First American Title and part of the fortune 500. Getting stationed in the Navy

I know this is a very old topic, but when it comes to Victoria, James bay has good appartments at a decent price, my studio was 635$/month and that was in 2004. A friend of mine had a basement one bedroom apt, with a huge living room for 500$ and about 50 meters from Dallas road. Downtown on...

Peoples Attitudes changed when stated I was joining

Don't blame the population, blame the mass media, they are the ones mainly responsible of giving a bad rep to the canadian forces on pretty much every aspects.

Gijesso, you might want to get your eyesight fixed, I don't think it would matter much as an aircrew as it would for a pilot. Plus there is a great place for that in Vancouver (from what I've been told by my optometrician (sp?))

oh imagine the amount of money we would save by switching to open source software, also documents that were created on earlier versions of Office, can't be open properly on the newer versions.
