I'd love someone to create a CF APP where we could hunt General Officer and Admiral cartoon characters and make them fight each other.... Imagine the fun.....
I thought the Canadian scrum looked ok against Ireland. That is more than i can say about our scrum in recent years. Lineout still needs work.
Nathan Hirayama is a great fly half. I don't believe we are well served by Gord McRory, however technically competent he might be. Phil Mack is...
Yup....next will come a decade of arguing with your risk adverse boss as to why your troops should be allowed into town when you are out of the country on a dry exercise...and looking for a bit of fun and adventure....
Please...let's be more like the US Army and Navy.... Clearly they are the...
Yup....but anyone who thinks that the Army is as much fun today as it was in the '80s or '90s (or 60's or 70s?) would be lying.....or maybe they weren't around then....

A Folk Punk, meets Billy Bragg, mixed in with Bruce Springsteen and with a dollop of the Pogues kind of band.
Very much fun.
Great idea....I'd love a team Unarmed Combat Competition....but we got rid of that with the RV series of exercises and Platoon nights out in Wainwright.
Canadian Men's Sevens team has just made history, beating Scotland 10-7 at the Glasgow Sevens, to advance to our first ever Sevens World Series tournament final!

All the more reason to stop Environment led and focussed parochial FD. If it has not been coordinated and costed as a "Joint" project, it should not get the money. The only way FD will become joint (and rational?) is if take more out of the hands of the environments in my opinion. ...
Agreed, however job related studies can be very broad arcs...
Depending on your geographical location and environment it is not as easy to maintain a level. Secondly I believe our expectations at certain rank levels, CBC for instance, might possibly be more than is required to function...
In most cases, I believe in my line of work (infantry) that these three competencies (fitness, job knowledge and education), even when taken close to the extreme, are not mutually exclusive. Some of the hardest fittest soldiers I have known, have also been the most competent and tactically...
I agree the FORCE test is fine. BFT or 2X10 were never enough for real operational infantry fitness. We have always trained well beyond that. Troops that got broken along the way found another occupation.
Your last paragraph kills me though....yup we want a bunch of dumb fat slugs who...
"Andrew Jackson Jihad" People That Can Eat People Are the Luckiest People in the World Folk punk band out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Good news is when "Andrew Jackson...

Not everyone can "turn the other cheek" like Journeyman >:D
Canada v Australia at midnight mountain time tonight.
Good news is ....this morning my tabby cat woke up and kicked the living sh*t out of a stuffed Koala.....for 14 minutes she destroyed the Koala.
I think that the Canadian Women are going to win this one.....
