Well it all depends on how you want to word it.  The Afghan mission is not a war per-say, but it is a proxy conflict for the over all war on Terrorism, much like Viet Nam was a proxy conflict for the Cold War.

Well, you are correct when you say it's not a tracked vehicle.  I am in the back seat of the (not so mighty) MilCot.  You can tell from the cabin wall right behind me and the color of the roof.  But yea, it wasn't very obvious.
