yeah - it seems like it was always the wrong time, or I lacked the infrastructure to help me pursue my goals.  Now, everything has fallen into place and the only thing that can stop me now is me.  I hope I can cope well with being away from the kids and husband.

I think I understand the source of the confusion. While Uplands is no longer a "base" per se, like Moe and George said there are still some buildings used/ occupied by the CF as well, the PMQs are still being used as such. Rockcliffe, on the other hand, is no longer a base, and the housing...

Indoctrination period perhaps?  Which course are you going on? (I mean what date)

We have support paraphernalia on both vehicles (window clings on both, and a license plate frame on my car).  I don't see it as being hypocritical at all as there are far more service members than just my husband and soon myself.  Why shouldn't we show our support for them? The stand in front...

I am bringing my car Lucas, but I'll likely be going home (Ottawa) weekends if I can.  Though I'm sure there will be the occasional weekend I'll stay behind.
