I came across this thread while doing research and not wanting to start another I will post here. I am hoping to become a RegF Combat Engineer and serve a long career in the military but I also understand the importance of simply holding a undergrad degree or college diploma should I ever injure...
I broke my wrist and ankle 7 and 8 years ago and when I went in for the medical and mentioned it was not discussed for more then 2 minutes with the Med Tech. He didn't even go into torn ligaments, sprains etc. Just major surgeries and broken bones
Ah cool, I was hoping to be a Cameron but they filled all their spots. So hopefully I will be with 33 CER, which is good in a way because once I finish university I'd love to go RegF and be an Combat Engineer.
The 33 CER recruiter out in that strange office looking building they occupy in Orleans said that they have their specialized troop which parades out there along with PAT platoon, and in this specialized troop they have geo-techs, bridging guys, and other specialized engineer types.
Nerf Herder is the MG3 accurate for a 2A4M in Afghanistan, I thought only the 20 German 2A6M's we received had the MG3 equipped and the rest had the C6...
Probably has something to do with the Army run happening in Ottawa this weekend. They had some vehicles displayed, the LAV 6.0, CANSOF Humvee's, a Leopard 2A4 and some others I can't recall.
