Not sure if you would call it rare but I was in a Surplus store here in North Bay today and came across a bunch of US "cammies" with name tapes still attached along with unit patches of some sort.
No I didn't buy them ....they wanted way too much.
I was also surprised too see our current issue...
There is a list for civil servants at the provincial level who make 6 figures or better that get's published each year. I think it's called the sunshine list or something like that. Not sure if federal level does the same thing or if military members would be included in such a list.

I lost $20 bucks to an ex-supply tech who CFR'd who told me he could pick up a loonie with a forklift on the parade square.
What he did was placed the fork on top of the loonie applied a little pressure and reversed the forklift. The loonie flipped right up onto the fork.
