Got a voice mail yesterday after I called Friday. They confirmed that my medical file had been returned from Ottawa and I was cleared :) I've also been told today that wile LogO is now closed, MARS has reopened, and I should "hear from them shortly". So, things are still moving. :)

Not sure. MARS was always my first choice, and I've just been informed that it has opened up again, so I'm currently pursuing that option.

Just as an update, medical file came back (approved), but have been informed that LogO selection has come and gone.

Just curious, are you an OT/CT or DEO? I was told that MARS was closed earlier in the year for DEO however if they have reopened (at least for 1 position) then perhaps there's hope for further processing before next April.

Anecdote: I was told that while LogO does have preferred degrees, any degree is acceptable (mine is in Comp Sci and was told it was fine.)

If you have previously applied, then the login gets disabled as you already have a service number.

I'm still waiting for my medical file to come back from review in Ottawa, so have not yet had any interviews. I'm not optimistic about making this selection, but I've waited this long, have to take it as it comes.

Spoke with CFRC and got confirmation they received the form and have forwarded my file to Ottawa for review. Also sent the original via mail as requested. Timeframe will vary of course but the Sergeant I spoke with suggested two weeks or so for them to review wouldn't be out of the question. So...

Had my medical today and was told that my vision had gone from V5 to V1. Just need a form filled out and returned by the LASIK place and I will be medically cleared.
