Concerning the ROTP application form from RMC website

If it's on the website it is probably correct, your best bet would be to fill it out, bring it to the Recruiting Centre with you, and they will take a look at everything.  If the form isn't correct, they will provide you with the right one.

    Spousal Work Opportunity

*Not a scam....* Thought I would preface with that.  My wife recently finished training, and is now working for a cell phone company as a contractor through an outside agency as a customer service representative.  She works from home and sets her own hours, with a minimum of 20 hours per week...

    Kingston thread - merged

Another thumbs up for Amherstview.  We bought here in July, and the commute isn't that bad as long as you hit the right traffic.  You get a little more house for your money, and it is quiet.  We have a new Barr home here, and other than the minor issues you find with any builder, we are happy.

    Pilot Recruiting Length

If you were to apply, would it fall under CT-ROTP?  I.E. while you are still in university, looking for subsidization of the remainder of your school, or DEO?  I believe that those are the only two routes for someone from the PRes to go to Reg, but I may be wrong.  This last selection, they...

NCM Subsidized Education Plan (NCM SEP)

There are recruiting targets for every trade, further divided into various entry plans.  As far as most NCM trades go, you don't have a lot of choice... the regular entry plan, and NCM-SEP (some specifics for various other trades...).  If they aren't taking NCM-SEP, that means most likely for...

    Tutors in Trenton?

Oh, ok, so maybe SPAR is, or has lost the contract.  Maybe that explains this: "Due to the nature of this work you may be required to complete some tasks outside the typical “on-aircraft” trade classification.". Thanks

NCM Subsidized Education Plan (NCM SEP)

I did NCM-SEP as an AVS tech.  The list of institutions posted previously is correct, except you can scratch out NAIT, their program will be shut down as of this year.  It is a completely separate entry plan, you select it from day 1 at the recruiting centre, and it has a whole different set of...

    Tutors in Trenton?

Are there currently any Tutor aircraft in Trenton?  I was under the impression that only the Snowbirds and AETE still flew them.  However, the following posting by Cascade Aerospace tells me otherwise: http://www.cascadeaerospace.com/careers/opportunitiesapply Anybody know what the deal is...

    ROTP 2011-2012

You should have received some sort of instructions from your recruiting centre during your swearing in ceremony, have you been in contact with your ULO (University Liason Officer) yet?  It's a little late to figure things out now on a Friday if you need to be somewhere Monday.  Are you both...

    Service Reviews for Postings

My wife and I had an idea during our recent posting, as we had good/bad experiences with various contractors.  Not sure how this fits into the TOU of the site, but we thought it would be nice to have an organized place to post experiences, other than just starting a thread in a specific forum. ...

CEOTP (Continuing Ed Officer Trg Plan) 2003-2018 [Merged]

CEOTP is currently not open for Pilot.  It has been open in the past, however they closed it recently, and I don't foresee it opening again in the very near future, as they have slowed down on recruiting pilots due to the current bottleneck in training.  No, CEOTP is not only open for people in...

    Regular Officer Training Plan (ROTP)-RMC 2000 - 2018 [Merged]

There are some Pilots in the CF who got their private pilots licences when they were 16, prior to receiving a drivers licence, and have years of cadet experience.  There are others who have never sat in the pilot seat of an airplane until their Primary Flight Training in the military.  Although...

I know I saw a link on the Esquimalt BPSO site... I know that the doc has to call you Chronic sea sick, and it's quite the ordeal.

    CFIRP and 'Income-Producing Property'

Has anyone sold a house with a suite in it under IRP?  The policy states: "CF members who sell or purchase an income-producing property which is also CF members’ residence, shall only be reimbursed expenses for that part of the building used as their principal residence except for fees outlined...

CEOTP (Continuing Ed Officer Trg Plan) 2003-2018 [Merged]

Anyone else get a CEOTP offer for AEC?  I got one the other day, but I am holding off accepting it until I hear the results of my UTPNCM application, although I am starting to think it is a no since I haven't heard anything yet.

    UTPNCM Offers 2011

Has anyone gotten/heard of any Pilot offers?  I know that we are down to 3 spots this year, but I know a few people with UTPNCM applications in this year and as far as I know, none of them have heard anything either way.  I heard a rumour that they are delayed slightly due to another board that...
