I caught this as interesting in the description:
"One of the greatest innovations is the hip belt which actually bears weight. A strap on the hip belt is attached to load transfer rods that run up the sides of the rucksack. This allows weight to be transferred between the shoulders and the hips...
I wonder how much money could be found if we (collective) didn't waste so much.
We've all seen the waste that occurs when a course is ran - all the excess food wastage, office supplies etc.
I also wonder if budgets did not have to be used completely to receive the next budget. It's always...
The jist of the meeting was a formal press conference telling us (the military audience) that this is going on. Basically the Minister of Labour has been put in charge of sussing out the details of job protection, between all interested groups ( Labour ministers -- provinical where such...

Which is why CSIS has been told for years by the oversight committee to get rid of this test for new applicants.
CSIS still continues to use the polygraph, without a good explaination as to why they do.
What I found really interesting in the Government's latest policy change wrt passport applications. The renewing a passport without(completely) reproving who you are makes some sense. What doesn't make sense is the government changing the policy from a "professional" to act as a guarantor to...

I'm just wondering - 11M for the Tackvest and 19M for a backpack with detachable pockets - doesn't that seem a tad pricey ?
As a reservist I'm wondering why there is no mention of an Order in Council, anywhere.
If there is such a need of Reserve augmentation - and one could argue there is when a CBG is deploying so many soldiers, this should be considered. Yes it will include many facets to sort out, and will have...
It may not affect the unit on a large scale with the few augmentees model - but when you're sending 20+ of your unit (many of whom are PLQ +) I'd figure that the impact is far larger.
