Curious, most of this thread deals with the officer side of things.  Is anybody up to speed with how these changes would affect someone trying to apply as an NCM?  Such as sponsors in country, prior service in commonwealth countries, and time in country before joining?

I can personally attest to that, since the 1990 Meaford map shows roads, which are now blacktracks, and shows blacktracks, which are now actually roads, it can really play tricks on your mind.  Especially when your instructor wonders where the fuck your going, because he KNOWS its a road now...

It can be assumed that most people don't want to do courses over again when CTing, but does anybody know if you can actually request to do a course over again, say BMQ? even if your told you don't have to.

BMQ will be 4 weeks followed by a 4 week SQ and if your in LFCA then another week for SG. I had some buddies go through the co-op and they did just BMQ the their SQ/BIQ (QL2 /QL3 whatever it was then )  in the summer.  So your still probably looking at 9 weeks in the summer.

Id imagine its different from trade to trade, but I just had a buddy get out of a service battalion and head over to my unit.  That being said, it did take him over a year to transfer because his unit wanted to dick him around. Good luck with your transfer.
