Next they will be banning Big Garish looking Marines.
On a side note the worst Tat I ever saw was on a girl working the counter a Laura Secord. She had a "Gitter-er-Done" on the back of her neck. Can anyone say Trailer....
As a Gunner I'm saddened. 105mm is a training round not a combat round for the moder battlefield. Wheels....ouch. I guess not enough heavy gunners with rank anymore the light guys are having a hayday.
I found Georges slides interesting as the second last one details the 105mm is more lethal...
The CAV "Candian Army Veterans Motorcycle Unit" is open to all. We have current regforce and reseve members along with Veterans from all militarise. We also have non military who share are views on the world and support the military.
We have units in all locations across the country and...
This has been a great discussion so far. The yellow portion is uncalled for, let us not cast stones at each others work under fire.
No doubt as has been discussed often in this thread body counts and EN estimates have never been very accurate. To claim 1500 KIA and have them disappear off...
I watched it late last night......he was superb as usual. This was the second detailed interview I have seen of him and he is remarkable. A true hero, an example to all. His recollections were clear and his description of his new self once he came home rang true for me also. I just could not...
Not joking. The wording comes direct out of the VAC legislation wording. Much like a stipend such as Canada gives to soldiers who won VC or POW in the old days.
Its supposed to be compensation for the lost ability to earn an equitable income.
On this one your incorrect that is what...
Gordjenkins,
The media is a help but you have to pick the right fight to be taken seriously.
In the case above I might suggest that this line I have separated from the main text is possibly a red flag to DVA.
In this case detailed by Battleaxe should most of these issues not be...
Battleaxe,
You make good points. To fully detail my position it is important to understand the moneys received by the injured. I think we all make a mistake and erode our cases when we call DVA a pension for disability. It is a Gift of Canada for pain and suffering....not a disability...
Battleaxe,
I don't think it helps at all currently. The reason is that most all the media spot lights on DVA issues are from what I see as very weak arguments and questionably claims. What we need in the media is the most disturbing claims to get attention so the public is shocked. Those...
Chlorine Bombs are IMHO an indication of desperation of the insurgents. It is based on the lack of good explosives available to create real bombs. Same issue as suicide bombers it is a sign of desperation and an inability to mass resources, which is always a good sign.
Battleaxe,
Boyne Clark is my legal team and what I know of them and how they operate is that 30% goes to the legal team from the total award amount. Since this is such a sensitive award I would suggest that, they (Boyne Clark) will ask for legal to be paid by the crown outside of the straight...
This has been fought before and put on hold awaiting the CFs insurance agents and CFs position on it. Still waiting. This is just one more case to possibly cause the CF and in particular the CDS (who is the designated policy holder of LTD SISIP) to decide to change the claw back of DVA pain...
