Wasn't told specifically that I was or not as I did not ask, but I know they have contacted my references and past workplaces and the recruiter was aiming to have me ready to go for this round of selections.
For me it was that I didn't want a delay in my file due to not getting a urine test when supposed to. Anything to make sure the process moves smoothly and nothing gets missed.
With some selections coming up in the next week, can anyone shed some light on how long it usually takes to find out if you made the cut after the selection date? I'm curious if it depends on the recruiting centre getting to all of their applicants or if the actual selection process takes a while.
Great advice. I would like to add one more thing, make sure you are fully rested going into it. Don't let something stupid like lack of sleep get in the way of your success.
I think this will be a long week for some of us here on the site. My medical and everything is completed as well and last I heard from the recruiting centre was that the criminal background check had cleared as well as the credit check. Hoping to here back for this round of selections as well...
During the application process, you will come across a page that says to sign in with a partner address or a GCkey. That is where you register for an account.
Not sure if anyone really has the numbers to answer your question. From what I've experienced, and heard from others though, is that if you are honest with the recruiter and let them know your preference then they will try but ultimately it comes down to your competitiveness + where recruits are...

The background/credit check they did on me came back practically two days later. When was the last time you were in contact with them? Wouldn't hurt to give them a call and see if there has been any movement on it, maybe you're merit listed and don't even know. From what I've noticed, they don't...
