haha alright ill keep that in mind, i've certainly kept my physical fitness high, and i am in no way worried. thanks for the heads up. ill be sure to check my pulse before i begin.
cheers, good luck with the rest of your basic!
I was given the same sheet after completion of my interview and medical.
this seems to be the new testing standards. there have been several videos on youtube via the canadianforces channel and on the website.
i would expect all of these tests if not all but the sand bag lift. but i have no idea...
The reference section of my application was as straight forward as any request for references has been i.e. jobs in the past and even college. look at the bottom of your resume..(if you have one) and im sure that atleast one of your references there would work.
its very simple, you're applying...
waking up at 5-6:30 am every morning no matter what i did the night before, going for a run (2.5-3.5 kms) doing my pushups and situps (20 pushups, 30 situps) and eating a more balanced diet throughout the day.
and of course, re-watching basic up for the 100th time as well as any videos i can get...
I applied in august of last year at CFRC Hamilton, and was contacted in january. once i was contacted i wrote my cfat in febuary, and had my medical and interview on the 10th of April. my file is returning from Ottawa at the moment and my file manager has told me that i should be merit listed...
hmm well atleast you have that done and now just awaiting the easy part. i thought that my references and my background check would have came before all of my testing but i suppose my cfrc does things different. none the less good luck on your final test and interview. and hopefully ill have...
how long have you been waiting for you interview and medical?
it all moved relatively quickly to get to those points.
and i believe that there should be absolutely no problem with my background check. so i suppose i have another 2 week wait roughly to find out. last call i made to my file...
Like most posts here and like my previous post, im looking for insight on my timeline for bmq.
my interview and medical all went extremely well. and after getting an professional eye exam done and sent to Ottawa with my medical i am just awaiting my final name check (background check) and...
As far as i can see Hamilton has been moving well, the day of my CFAT 4 people didnt show up and one reschedule. so i wrote it with about 5 others. so there must be a decent amount of interest.
Hopefully you will get your reschedule and back on track with them. I would keep calling as much as...
Great information, thank you!
I most certainly have been getting good at waiting, and soon to be better haha.
The Sgt. told me himself that there was a small chance that i could make the April rotation but as you said the wait times for my clearance from Ottawa will most def inhibit that as...
fair enough, well i haven't been informed on a switch so its steady as she goes so far.
i certainly didn't think my application was receiving special attention but the hopes of early travel I'm sure is on every new recruits mind. as we all are patiently waiting lol
I realize the time from...
i was booked in on the 14th of March. i was told by the Sgt. at CFRC Hamilton to call within a month of my aptitude test. i called and i had been placed in career management and they booked both my medical and my Job Interview for me on the spot.
it may be unrealistic but it would be amazing to...
